When you register for Body Positive Yoga Summer Camp, please indicate how you'll arrive. Depending on where you land, we may be able to help you arrange transport from Washington, DC, or Charlottesville, Virginia (carpool or shared cab ride).
If you are traveling by plane, most people fly into Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC, which is less than a 2 hour drive to Sevenoaks.
Four options for getting from Dulles to Sevenoaks:
1) Take a connecting flight to the Albemarle Regional Airport in Charlottesville, VA which is about 20 miles south of Sevenoaks. People then take a cab from the airport to Sevenoaks, which costs about $50 each way.
2) Rent a car from the Dulles Airport and drive to Sevenoaks, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. See directions below.
3) Take a bus to downtown Charlottesville, VA and then take a 30-minute cab or Uber ride from the bus station.
4) Take a train (station code CVS) to downtown Charlottesville, VA and then take a 30-minute cab or Uber ride from the bus station.
There are several cab companies that taxi at these stations (more limited at bus station). Charlottesville also has Uber.
Alternative Airports
- Albemarle Regional Airport in Charlottesville, VA (airport code CHO) is a 20-minute drive from Sevenoaks. You can rent a car at the airport for approximately $20/day or take a taxi for about $50.
- Richmond International Airport (airport code RIC) is a 75-minute drive to Sevenoaks.
- Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (airport code ROA) is a 2 hour and 20 minute drive to Sevenoaks.

From Baltimore, MD
Go south to get on the Washington Beltway (I-495) to Northern Virginia, and follow directions below.
From Washington, D.C. and Washington Beltway/I-495
Get on I-66 going west. Take exit 43A to US 29 south at Gainesville (the next exit after Manassas). Stay on 29, going south, past Warrenton and Culpeper. About 15 miles south of Culpeper, pass the town of Madison and keep going south. Six miles past Madison, cross Route 662; Bavarian Chef Restaurant is on your right. In 2.5 miles, turn right onto County Route 621, also called Seville Road. Follow directions “From County Route 621/Seville Road” below.
From Dulles Airport
From the Dulles Airport, get on Route 28 south toward Centreville. After the light at Braddock Road (about 11 miles from airport), follow signs for I-66 west toward Front Royal, and follow directions “From Washington, D.C.” above.
From Richmond, VA
Get on I-64 going west. The easiest way is to stay on I-64 to Charlottesville, then exit onto US 29 north and follow above directions from Charlottesville. A shorter way is to exit onto US 15 north to Gordonsville, then get on US 33 west to Ruckersville. Follow US 33 to the traffic light at US 29 and turn right. In 4.8 miles, turn left on County Route 621, also called Seville Road. Follow directions “From County Route 621/Seville Road” below.
From Roanoke, VA
Get on I-81 going north, and then take I-64 east to Charlotteseville. Take US 29 north and follow directions “From Charlottesville” below.
From Charlottesville, VA and Charlottesville Airport
From Charlottesville, get on US 29 north. From the airport, take Airport Road east to US 29 and turn left (north). About 5 miles from the Airport, go through the town of Ruckersville. Go 4.8 miles further north on 29, then turn left on County Route 621, also called Seville Road. Follow directions “From County Route 621/Seville Road” below.
From County Route 621/Seville Road (road off of which Sevenoaks is located)
Head west on County Road 621/Seville Road for one mile to get to the Sevenoaks driveway called Pathwork Way, which will be on the left; look for the blue arched Sevenoaks Retreat Center sign next to two mailboxes. Turn left into the driveway.
The one-lane driveway is about ½-mile long through the woods, with turn-outs to allow cars to pass. Follow signs to Parking (second left turn).
Center Building is located at the end of the parking area. You will see signs for event registration!
